Benefits of being in the Chamber
1. The Chamber of Commerce of Greater West Chester (CCGWC) keeps you
in touch with hundreds of your fellow Chamber members through our monthly,
after-hours business card exchanges and membership information meetings.
These gatherings encourage members to mingle, exchange business cards, and
establish business contacts.
2.
The CCGWC helps keep more dollars in the region by providing you
with the Chamber Membership Directory and with our Member-to-Member
Discount Program. The Directory is distributed throughout the region and
promotes doing business with other Chamber members. Members receive a
complimentary copy of this publication annually.
3.
Let the Chamber cut the red tape and clear up the confusion of
local regulations through our Legislative/Government Committee. The
Committee has actively participated in notifying members of local issues
that may impact business. The Committee keeps communication open between
the area municipalities and the Chamber, in order to keep abreast of
issues that could effect business.
4.
New customers are important to the success of your business. Each
year, the Chamber receives thousands of requests for information about
local goods and services. Only CCGWC members are recommended and endorsed
by the Chamber office.
5.
The best way to communicate with CCGWC businesspeople is to read
the Chamber Chatter. This monthly newsletter provides a wealth of
information that keeps you informed of events and issues that, as a
business leader in the West Chester Area, you need to know. Opportunities
to advertise in the Chatter are available to members only.
6.
Reduce the high cost of health insurance. Chamber Group Insurance
provides you with access to several different health options designed
specifically for business. Any member and employees of that member are
eligible.
7.
Your volunteer involvement assures you a role in leading the future
of the region. Among our active committees are the Government/Legislative
Committee, Education Committee, Business Information Committee,
Ambassadors Committee, Public Relations Committee, Seminar Committee,
Membership Development, and Downtown Committee. Consider attending a
Chamber orientation to learn more about these volunteer opportunities.
8.
Chamber membership is important to you! You strengthen our programs
by becoming an active participant. Together, we are better able to promote
Greater West Chester as the place you’d rather be.
9.
Use the Chamber to improve your business climate by making new
contacts, attending seminars, and taking advantage of the many networking
opportunities. Expand your networking opportunities even further by
joining a Shop Talk group. Your only obligation is to commit to one lunch
a month.
10.
Because Your Chamber Means Business for YOU!
