Membership Benefits

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Chamber hosts a general membership meeting once a month. Meeting topics generally address the concerns of business owners ranging from better marketing skills to how to deal with employee issues.  Breakfast meetings begin at 7:45 am and lunches begin at 11:45 am and last approximately one hour. The cost varies according to the event and meeting place.  As a new member, you will be invited to attend a reception where you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and meet other new members.  Upcoming events are posted in the Chamber Chatter, on the Chamber website (www.greaterwestchester.com) and distributed through weekly membership emails.  Sponsorship opportunities are available exclusively to members.

BUILD RELATIONSHIP – GET REFERRALS

Many of the Chamber’s programs and benefits are made possible by members who volunteer their time to work on committees.  Time commitments vary depending on program or task.  Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet other Chamber members, gain referrals and contribute to your networking benefits.

Click here for more information on Chamber Committees.

ADDITIONAL NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

The Chamber schedules a variety of events designed to give members the opportunity to network and promote their business. Monthly Business Card Exchanges scheduled before or after business hours, are hosted by member companies at their location when possible. Members are also invited to participate in the Exchange Extravaganza (held in October) and in multi-chamber networking events scheduled at various times throughout the year. Member-hosted events are scheduled on a “first come/first served” basis according to the Chamber’s event calendar. Contact the Chamber if you would like to host or sponsor a networking event.
